‘MATES’ Men’s Group -“Τα Φιλαρακια”
Meet the members of our new ‘Mates’ Men’s Group – “Τα Φιλαρακια”.
The group, which operates on alternate Mondays, fosters friendship and ‘parea’ by activities such as a day trip to the countryside, lunch with other senior citizens or visit a local attraction. Some of our previous outings have been to Mt Tamborine, the Carlton Brewery at Yatala and the SALT village at Kingscliff.
There is a small fee to cover transport and each person pays for his own lunch.
Enquiries may be directed to Rebecca Cominos on 0413 886 118.
Day Respite and MATES Volunteers
People who wish to help as volunteers in organising these outings can also apply. Please note that acceptance, as a volunteer would be subject to an interview and standard security check.
For more details contact Joanne on 5574 3920 Monday to Friday – if unanswered, please leave a message (your name and contact number) and we will return your call.
